CHRISTOPHER CAUGHRAN

Say hello to Christopher Caughran, our Sustaining Engineering Intern who is currently a junior at the University of Florida. Chris is majoring in Mechanical Engineering and plans to graduate in May of 2022. Once he graduates, the most important thing he’s looking for in a company is one who cares about their workers as well as providing opportunities to grow.

Chris’ dream career is working somewhere he can make a positive impact on the people inside and outside the company. He would also like for his job to challenge him. Chris is currently creating 3D Autodesk Inventor representations for all window and door products. These will later be imported into the website to create a consumer-friendly buying process. When asked what advice he would give to other interns, Chris said, “Don’t get too stressed out, give it your all and that will be more than enough.” Overall, the biggest lesson Chris has learned from PGT Innovations is the importance of getting to know your team members even if you don’t directly work with them.

Other Fun Facts About Chris:

  • Born: Charlotte, NC
  • Hometown: Sarasota, FL
  • Favorite part about PGTI:  The people
  • Fun Fact:  I have been skiing in the Rockies, and broke my thumb doing so.
  • If you could be any superhero, who would you be?  Spiderman, always loved him as a kid and he does his hero business in his own unique way.
