Dear PGT Innovations Team,

As you know, our PGT Innovations leadership team remains focused on doing everything possible to protect our team members, maintain a safe work environment, and share information to help our folks stay safe while at work, home, and out in the community. For almost two years, we have consistently monitored CDC guidance and OSHA requirements, as well as team member positivity reports from our various locations, and this process has guided our decisions to implement or remove mandatory mask requirements.

While transmission rates of COVID-19 had declined during October and November in the counties where our facilities and offices are located, the most recent reports now confirm significant increases of new coronavirus cases, driven by the spread of the omicron variant, which is likely due to the increase in travel and gatherings over the holidays. With this development, in accordance with OSHA requirements, effective Saturday, January 1, 2022, all of our facilities and retail locations will return to our full mask policy, which requires all individuals (vaccinated and non-vaccinated) to wear masks in our buildings.

As with past mask policy changes, our leadership team will be closely monitoring the rate of infection, as well as the curve measuring new cases and will re-evaluate our mandatory mask / face covering policy, as needed. With flu season in full effect and details about the omicron variant still being discovered, we must all be vigilant in continuing to do our part to limit the spread of germs by following these simple steps:
