Manufacturing Operations Update

Dear Valued Partner,

As our country is beginning to turn a corner in the historic Coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis and moves to restore our normal way of life, we hope you, your families, and your teams have remained safe and healthy during these trying times.

Our team has certainly faced our own challenges over the past few months; however, we are pleased to share that we have been ramping up our operations over the past weeks in order to support the needs of your business and your customers.

Restoring our manufacturing operations
While CDC-recommended social distancing practices are still in place within our manufacturing operations, a few recent positive developments we’d like to share about our locations include:

CGIC in Miami is enjoying solid performance after a week off for deep cleaning of the entire facility;
Our Hialeah facility (where CGI and WinDoor Estate Entrances are produced) is back online following a week off for deep cleaning of the entire building

Delivering on our commitment
Our team is also taking several steps to reduce lead times, which were extended as a result of adjustments that were made in response to COVID-19. This week:

Many of our team members are returning to work after sheltering in place;
Overtime for our manufacturing teams has been reinstated to help increase our production capacity;
We have resumed hiring to fill previously open positions; and
Our team has launched a multi-channel recruiting initiative to quickly attract qualified individuals for manufacturing positions.

We’re confident that these efforts will help us increase our production capabilities, drive lead times back to pre-COVID standards, and fulfill our promise of delivering “on time in full”.
