Be sure to refer to the content specific to your company as we will be posting unique content for each company. The content you can expect to find here includes:

  • Emergency Status Contact Number
  • Dates and times the company is closing
  • Planned Dates and times the company is re-opening
  • When a confirmed reopen date and time is finalized
  • Special notices for specific departments needed to assist in re-opening

Hurricane Irma Update

First and foremost we want you to keep yourself and your loved ones safe during this hurricane event. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you with the hope that Irma skirts Florida and becomes a non-event for the U.S.

  • Please reference the established CGI call tree for emergency shutdown status/updates.

  • CGI Team – It has been a very hectic time here at CGI with Hurricane Irma. We understand that several members are still working through clean up and repairs to their homes, and we are making every effort to assist them. Taking care of your family and home should be your number one priority, and we want our team members to know that your jobs are secure as recovery efforts continue.

    Please see the bullets below for answers to a few common questions regarding the time that our office and plants were closed, as well as how to receive hurricane relief assistance.

    • Through Friday, 9/15, time off will continue to be coded as unpaid, excused time off.
    • If you decide to use your PTO, please notify your leader so it can be coded accordingly.
    • Team members can apply for a family fund loan to assist with additional unmet needs due to Hurricane Irma. The amount covered will based on the financial hardship. Please contact Human Resources for repayment terms of the loan.
    • Remember to reach out to us if you need assistance or relief of any kind. Complete the webform found here (www.pgtinnovations.com/hurricanerelief/) with as much information as possible, and we will follow up with you with how and when we can get support to you.
    • CGIC team members – Accrued profit sharing checks will be issued with payroll checks on 9/15 to all eligible team members. This will be in the form of direct deposit (if previously set up) or a live check.

Our Center Court and James Street locations are still without power, so team members for those locations should remain in contact with your leaders for updates about a reopening date. We understand that several members are still working through clean up and repairs to their homes, and we are making every effort to assist them. Taking care of your family and home should be your number one priority, and we want our team members to know that your jobs are secure as recovery efforts continue.
